In a sudden move, Radio Spike, one of the co-hosts of Detroit’s Channel 95.5 Mojo in the Morning show, has left the program after an over 20-year run. Mojo announced the departure, and Radio Spike confirmed it on his Facebook page while expressing gratitude for the support he received during his time on the show.
Although the reason behind his departure remains unclear, Mojo hinted that company decisions may have played a part. According to iHeartRadio, the show will continue without him. Radio Spike, who has worked in the industry for over two decades, may find a new radio home or focus on his photography business, Buzz Click Photography, or travel blog, Explore With Spike.
Economic concerns within iHeartRadio parent company have caused layoffs across various cities, including Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, and Tampa. We wish Radio Spike all the best in his future endeavors.
