Marshmello Collaborates with Coca-Cola for Refreshing New Strawberry-Watermelon Soda

Coca-Cola has partnered with electronic music producer Marshmello to create a limited edition summer flavor, which is a fusion of strawberry and watermelon flavors with a Coca-Cola taste. This marks the first time the soda brand has co-created a beverage with an artist. The cans feature Marshmello’s signature aesthetic, featuring black and white visuals and Coca-Cola Spencerian script. The limited edition soda will be available in the U.S. and select countries around the world starting July 11, and there will also be a zero-sugar version.

Senior Director of Global Strategy at Coca-Cola, Oana Vlad, shared that they wanted the collaboration to be a creative process that could authentically represent both brands. Meanwhile, Marshmello shared that they experimented with different flavors, but finally settled on strawberry and watermelon. Furthermore, fans can scan a QR code on the can beginning July 25 to gain access to Marshmello’s latest track and personalized digital art.

This partnership has been met with both enthusiasm and curiosity, as it’s not every day that a soda brand collaborates with an artist.
